B-7 Aleutian WWII Sheepskin Parka
- Product Review (submitted on March 12, 2016):
- I bought this coat because I was going to Alaska to realize my lifelong dream of seeing -- and photographing -- the Northern Lights. (And doing the other tourista things!) With a base layer and sweater, I was able to stand in the cold for more than 2 hours, in the middle of the night, temps hovering at/below zero, and NOT get cold. I also waited in the snow to get pictures of dog mushing, sat in a house built solely of ice, and walked with reindeer where the temperatures were between 5-20 degrees; again, with no discomfort from the cold. If it climbed to above 20 degrees, I had to discard the base layer because it just isn't needed with this jacket. The quality of the product and workmanship are worlds ahead of anything else out there (and I looked before buying).
