Honoring Pearl Harbor, Cockpit USA has created this ultimate collector’s 1941 Pearl Harbor B-3 bomber jacket, patterned after the early 1941 issued russet colored B-3. Only the best shearling pelts were hand selected and color matched for the authentic vintage coloring only this style provides. Vintage labeling, heavy Latigo leather belting straps and other original features make this a classic must have. Fits and looks like it just came out of the factory in 1941. Please note that the shearling is tanned to “antique” as you wear it, giving “highs and lows” in the color so it looks as if you had this jacket since WWII. This will not affect the durability of this product. Sheepskin varies from production to production but you'll always receive the same craftmanship and warmth from Cockpit USA Not sure which size to get? Send us your measurements here and we will suggest the best fit for you.

• Thick, supple sheepskin with horsehide leather arm reinforcements
• Double buckle throat latch
• Horsehide leather shoulder tabs for rank
• Army Air Force Wing and Star on the left arm
• Front horsehide leather pocket
• Adjustable belted straps at the waist
• This is a regular fit jacket
• Available in 1941 brown
• Proudly made in the USA.

Since our items are made in the USA, please expect delivery within 2-3 weeks if your size is back ordered as we rush to produce. Should it take longer we will advise you personally. DISCLAIMER:: DO NOT USE ANY LEATHER CONDITIONER/ CLEANER ON THIS COAT. Cockpit & I didn't start out so well, but Jackie Klyman & her staff regained my trust. At first I was told, they didnt have my size & it would take about 5 weeks for my coat to be made,so I agreed to just wait it out & wait for my email confirmation once it left their factory. Well, I never received an email , nor did my jacket have 2 be made. 2 weeks later & my wife says I have a package that arrived today.Upon opening the package, I noticed the patina was way darker then the jacket I tried on in stor

e. After about 3 wears, my jacket started coming apart @ some seams & some of my belt holes weren't even punched in. I contacted Jackie & explained the situation & sent pics. Please dont make the mistake I made of putting a leather protector/CONDITIONER on this coat. I found out from Jackie that those products will destroy & weaken the leather.I sent the jacket back thinking they were going 2 Repair it, but they sent me back a brand new coat. The new coat was beautiful. The fur looked like a little teddy bear & the leather was immaculate. Due to cockpits integrity & loyalty behind the product, I have to give them an A+++ rating. Man, I was waiting for two weeks when it comes to Moscow and finally I received it today. It looks so authentically, I feel like I'm gonna jump into B-17 and start to bomb nazis. So the quality of this jacket is A+. Great leather, great shearling, tough look, everything is great. I think that B-3 is the best jacket for harsh winters here in Russia. Sure I will purchase more cool items from Cockpit. Thank you guys! (Posted on 10/1/2017)
Falling in Love with my B-3 Review by Laurent

Living in Switzerland and facing real winters, I always wanted to have a B-3. I’ve decided for the Pearl Harbor, which has something « more » to me, probably this russet leather. I also always liked the asymmetry given by the single gloves pocket.

Just received it today and I can tell you : no picture can give justice to this amazing piece of craftsmanship ! The russet leather is simply beautiful and the overall quality astonishing.

I’m usually wearing a size 38 - 40, even on Cockpit G-1 and A2. I got my B-3 in size 36 and the fit is just perfect with a t-shirt underneath. (I’m 1.78m for 78 kg)

This Pearl Harbor is not the cheapest one from the Cockpit catalog, but it is worth every cent.

The B-3 jacket will always be a classic, this is way above any idea or concept of fashion.

I will for sure keep this one until my last breath. (Posted on 6/29/2017)
A real original Review by John

While not the most practical winter jacket (only one small side pocket), this B-3 is the real-deal - i.e., pretty much an exact replica of the jacket worn by U.S. bomber crews early on in WWII. It is heavy, cumbersome, and generally impractical for all purposes save for manning the wait-gunner position in a B-17 bomber. But if you want to go out in zero-degree weather in a leather jacket, this is the way to go. The quality of construction is simply amazing. My only other remark is, be sure to treat it at least every-other year with a high quality leather treatment (such as "Bienenwachs"). (Posted on 1/15/2017)

Beautiful Jacket I like it, Made in The USA.
the only thing I didnt like that I cannot get the collar buttons to snap down because of the collar strap is right between them. (Posted on 12/9/2016)
