It may have been a while since Memorial Day weekend, but the memories are going nowhere! Here at Cockpit USA, we have just this very moment come across this epic photo taken during our favorite May holiday of two Curtiss fighter aircrafts flying in perfect aerial harmony during the American Airpower Museum's festivities. Not only as a great way to start the day but we also thought it would be unfair and selfish not to share the iconic image with you, our beloved Cockpit USA blog readers! Take a look!
Curtiss P-40 Warhawk
Here at Cockpit USA HQ we've digging through reels of footage of the AAM and its impressive fleet of planes, we came across this which we just had to share! With all the wonderful weather we've been having, the American Airpower Museum's Dan Dameo takes a Curtiss P-40 Warhawk to the beach for some fun in the skies. Take a look at this video for front row seats to the P-40 intercepting a "Zero", shooting it down, flying formation with P-51D "Never Miss" and then finally returning to the home drome. That's a whole lot of action for one day!
