Here at Cockpit USA, we are renowned for our hardy outerwear. Leather, nylon, khaki, field and bomber; we got it all. However, there is more. Alongside our many jackets and coats, we also offer a range of tees. The diverse line includes hand silk screened curvy beauties emblazoned across the Pin-Ups collection and complementing the eponymous leather jackets along with a wide range of tees featuring military insignia, aircrafts and graphics representative of the air force. Each tee shirt is 100% cotton, designed and printed on our home turf of the U.S.A. and available in a range of colors.

Here at Cockpit USA we’re avid storytellers. As proud purveyors of clothing imbued with genuine heritage elements, every one of our pieces is steeped in history and holds a story of its own. As much as we appreciate a pretty face or two, our Pin-Ups Collection of leather jackets is a touch more than that, weaving a very interesting tale of bravery and creativity. It all began during WWII when aircrews took to painting victory tags and patriotic mantras on the sides of their planes as morale boosters and to satisfy superstitions in an era that soon came to be known as the ‘Golden Age’ of nose art. The trend for wartime graffiti soon found its way onto jackets, with hand-painted slogans and curvy vixens clad in very little soon adorning every self respecting pilot’s leather back canvas. Drawing influence from the famous images and riveting back story, Cockpit USA started the Pin-Ups in the early 80s, a collection which includes the iconic 'Las Vegas Lady' and 'Second Chance' A-2 'Good Luck Pin-Up' bombers, paying homage to the valiant pilots who fought in the war. Style with a story; a perfect ending indeed.
An array of genuine crafts emblazoned with nose art can be seen at The American Airpower Museum in Farmingdale, New York. This Saturday October 1st is the final chance for aviation enthusiasts to get involved in the C-47 flight experiences this season. It is not to be missed!
We’ve thrown out our battered boat shoes, packed away our shorts and bid a final farewell to the balmy climes of summer. However, fear not for we are not forlorn in the slightest but instead very excited to present a preview of this season’s dapper new collection. Staying ever faithful to Cockpit USA’s signature style of heritage imbued clothing, this season’s line consists of perennial wardrobe staples such as the black leather racer with knitted collar, the Vintage G1 jacket, a WWII waxed cotton navy deck jacket boasting aluminium fireman clasps and a classic, fitted field jacket. Sheepskin, coyote trims and waxed finishes permeate the autumnal hued collection for an understated, yet edgy aesthetic. The WWII Hybrid Coat is innovatively brought up to date in olive wool with contrasting hazel brown leather accents while the asymmetrical lines of the navy Oarsmen Coat and grandly built Upper Bridge Coat with leather strap features epitomise the entire collection’s slant of putting contemporary twists on classic favorites. All looks are perfectly complimented with all denim by 4-stroke and boots by H.H. Brown and Wolverine.
