Crafted originally during WWII, the grand B-7 Parka was an essential asset in the protection of pilots and ground crews stationed in the bitterly cold climates of Alaska. With plummeting temperatures and unheated cockpits at altitudes of up to 20,000 feet, a heavy duty piece of outerwear was needed to keep out the chill and the specifically designed three quarter length, plush shearling and fur trimmed B-7 jacket fit the bill perfectly. Our B-7 Aleutian WWII Sheepskin Parka is a true collector's item.

• Buckle throat latch
• Two front pouch pockets
• Side entry zipper hand warmer pockets

  1. Stood up to Alaska with flying colors! Review by Jeff

I bought this coat because I was going to Alaska to realize my lifelong dream of seeing -- and photographing -- the Northern Lights. (And doing the other tourista things!) With a base layer and sweater, I was able to stand in the cold for more than 2 hours, in the middle of the night, temps hovering at/below zero, and NOT get cold. I also waited in the snow to get pictures of dog mushing, sat in a house built solely of ice, and walked with reindeer where the temperatures were between 5-20 degrees; again, with no discomfort from the cold. If it climbed to above 20 degrees, I had to discard the base layer because it just isn't needed with this jacket. The quality of the product and workmanship are worlds ahead of anything else out there (and I looked before buying). (Posted on 3/12/2016)

Could'nt be happier. My friend bought the same coat from Orvis, paid almost 700.00 more, paid sales tax and shipping. All together $1000.00 more. The sales rep was very nice, in spite of his N.Y. accent, lol.
P.S. Your coat was new, theirs was very used.
    Thank you !!!!!!

  4. Woohoo -- A Divine Coat Review by Arley

I will never need to buy another coat for the rest of my life and I will never ever be cold again. The WWII Parka is well worth the investment because the workmanship and design details are exquisite. Everyone (including strangers) ask to try it on and compliment me on how beautiful and unique this coat is. I could not be happier with this purchase. I walk happier and warmer through the streets of NYC while others admittedly drool at how fine my new coat is. Everyone who tries it on (there is a 30 second time limit for fear of claiming ownership!) agrees and wants one. (Posted on 2/19/2014)
