In tribute to the bravery of the first African Americans to serve the country as combat aviators, Cockpit USA joined forces with a group of New York based Tuskegee Airmen over the course of a year to design and produce a unique, honorary flight jacket. Emblazoned with emblems and decorative motifs, the jacket represents the various units that fought and the aircrafts they flew during WWII. Crafted from luxurious goatskin, this stunning A-2 jacket is a salute to the endurance and courage of the Tuskegee Airmen in the battle against segregation within the forces and overseas against the enemy. The jacket boasts an impressive 15 inch patch on the back featuring the aircrafts flown in the history of the Tuskegee Airmen along with custom patches on both sleeves that chronologically correspond with the service years of each unit.
