    The Cockpit first introduced this jacket in 1986 for those who want the look of the
            original, but lighter weight than leather for all season wear. Traditional A-2 styling
                in tightly woven cotton twill, snap close top entry with side entry pockets,
                    epaulets, inside chest pocket, washable leather snap down collar and
                        shoulder tabs, knit cuffs and waistband, full front zipper under wind
                            flap, hidden pen pocket, and grommets underarm for ventalation.
                                Cockpit I.D. leather bar tab on let chest and a cotton lining
                                     offers a detailed silk screened patriotic citation lining. Imported.

Cockpit MA-1 jacket: Used by various armed forces
     world wide. First adapted in the U.S. Air Force in 1950.
          This jacket is an iconic nylon flight jacket known
            practically everywhere as a nylon pilots jacket. Still
               in use in the 1980's by U.S. Army helicopter crews.
                The jacket features nylon flight satin with orange
                 lining for survival. The pilots would turn the
                  jacket inside out so that rescue crews could see
                   them. the jacket features snap flap hand warmer
                    pockets, two inside snap closure pockets and an
                      external pocket on the left sleeve for
                       pen, pencil, and is called a "cigaratte" zipper
                        pocket. Knit cuffs, waist and collar. Rugged
                         jacket used by military and para military
                         organizations. In classic Air Force sage
                          and Spec Ops OD black. Imported.
